Denis' love for stained glass began 20 years ago as a part-time hobby in his home glass art stained glass studio. Over the years, he has created lamps and light fixtures, stained glass window panels, custom window glass art, detailed sun catchers, stepping stones and pet memorials.

Denis particularly likes to create stained glass custom pet portraits that capture the personality and the physical characteristics of specific dog breeds. Each piece he creates is one-of-a-kind and is unique to the individual as well as their environment.
Our custom made pieces range in style from traditional to modern.
Using the finest glass available, the finished stained glass pieces truly enhance any setting. From the original artwork and construction methods to the installation, quality is evident throughout.

Along with stained glass, we have paintings, drawings, and digital art photo albums, inspirational digital art, and many more digital art themes. These pieces are created by Joanne (Denis’ wife).
Denis and Joanne initiate sales through greyhound events, dog shows, and specialty gift shops. We regularly donate many pieces of art to various pet-related organizations throughout Canada and the United States.

You have the option of selecting a unique piece of art from our store, or commissioning a special piece. The GlassHound does many commissioned pieces, usually from a photograph. Denis uses the photograph to create a beautiful stained glass design that compliments the subject.
You also have the option to commission a painting, a drawing or a digital art piece. Like the stained glass art, most of these are created using a photo or image that is supplied by you.
